I'm passing along the following notice that I just received via e-mail from Chris Gore.

I'm passing this on to all V8 People. Townsend's Show BRITISH CAR GATHERING is giving us 3 PLACES IN A V8 CLASS in their show. This is not the sort of thing that I see at British Car Shows very often. If we can get some cars, this might start a trend!

The show will be on May 10th at the Tally Ho Inn. Yes, the same place that the British V8 Meet was at in '06.

Jim Watson told me they were adding a V8 class this year. He said to tell all of y'all to come on down.

Jim's a long time member & past President (his wife is the current Prez) of the Blount British car club that has hosted the show for the past 21 years and he's a member of my other British car club that hosted MG2006.

May 9 & 10 are marked on my calendar of of Events. hope to see many of past attendees at this Spring meet. the Foothill of the Smokies are beautiful this time of year. The Talley Ho Inn is also a great place to visit. my car and I are moving under our own power again!

Townsend is a great place to visit. We had a great time in 2006!
