Please Don't Panic (site will be down briefly for maintenance)

Tomorrow, Wednesday February 3rd, at about noon Eastern time our servers need to be briefly powered-down for maintenance. I'm told the downtime should be less than a half hour.

Believe it or not, BritishV8 actually spans three servers: one for the main BritishV8 website, one for the new BritishRaceCar website, and a third server for the shared message board. It's not clear yet whether the servers will be switched "off" or back "on" simultaneously or separately.

In any case, please don't worry. The interruption will be brief, and all data is already backed-up.

Hi Curtis, I tip my hat to you and your dedication to this great website. I’m not sure if everyone understands the work involved in maintaining a website but everyone should be aware of it and appreciative.

I look forward to enjoy much more of the member’s participation with their great outlook and fresh ideas, thanks again for making it possible for all of us.

Jacques

Totally agree. Managing a website like this is a huge amount of work. Thanks Curtis!

I hear that my dad & I keep up these two club sites. They are NOTHING compared to this place. Thanks, Curtis!
