"ATTABOY" for The Stooges

The British V8 meet in Indy was super! Rick, Pete & Dave did a great job. There were activities for everyone. The heat was tough, but the refreshment dulled that. Track Day was an experience and enjoyed by everyone. Even the attendees w/o their cars had transportation to the events courtesy of the drivers w/o passengers. I enjoyed meeting my old friends and some new ones. The Union Jack was a good choice for food and drink. Thanks again for the great time and even better company!

That one will be hard to match, loved the track time. A first for me and my car, still have the grin on my face I think. A real great event. Thanks for all your hard work.

x5... Thanks guys!

One thing I particularly like about BritishV8 meets is how the activities and scenery change every year, as does the participant list. Something new each year for everyone! For next year, I hope more people will follow Phil's lead and bring their families - I know everyone will enjoy a retreat in the shady mountains of eastern Tennessee. It's really cool that the Stooges apparently reached out to some local clubs and encouraged them to join us. How many makes of car were represented this year? Of participants who stayed overnight in the host hotel, I think six British marques were represented (MG, Triumph, Jaguar, Daimler, Mini, and Austin-Healey), but if you include local folks who joined us for specific events such as the track day then fourteen British marques turned up! (I count the Lotus Seven clones as British.)

Aw shucks.........thanks, guys!

We had hoped that more of the Hoosier MGB Club members would have joined us...and were pleased that the Loti came out to have some fun. (Our connection there was obviously Prototype Developments and their staff!) Bob Connell of Connell MG Service came out on Saturday, as did Mike Anderson of the Hoosier Club. There may have been others that I missed!
