THANKS ! to our extended family
Sandy & I cannot express the deep feelings we have for all the prayers and well wishes during her medical emergency at INDY. A huge THANK YOU for the entire bunch of FRIENDS! A special thanks to Carl and Jean for pulling me through the the situation. We arrived home today at aprox. 3:30PM CST. Left this AM at around 7:30 CST (8:30 EDT). The Green Machine was fueled at the BP station near the hotel and sits in my garage with tad less than 1/4 tank of fuel. I am very pleased with the MPG. Traffic was not bad and we did stop several times for her to exercise her legs and me to transfer liquid from Bladder :-).
We had a great time seeing friends and even with the situation, we enjoyed the time together. One does not expect to have an emergency at a gathering, but with the family of V8 people, it could not have been better. Thanks again and see you in Townsend in Oct. |
