For any of you who might have missed it, you really should watch Cuban Chrome on the Discovery Channel- One of rhe guys is rebuilding
a 1959 Austin Healey, drives an MGA, and does some repair work on a Healey Silverstone. What these guys accomplish with minimal resources is amazing! If you want to learn some "Old School" techniques and just flat get inspired, give a look to "Cuban Chrome"!

I did see that episode. It really points out how relatively "easy" it is to restore or modify a car here with online ordering of parts just a click away.

The amazing part for me is the incredulous repurposing of engines/ drivelines, an eclectic mix for sure!

They don't suffer the problem of too many choices. Nobody poo poo's their parade, based on engine or drivetrain selections. Motor-On, mi cubanos, and can you send some cigars ?

Why don't they order parts from Canada ?We don't have a trade embargo withCuba. Tons of us go there on vacation every winter.

Average Cuban salary is about $25-30 a month. Can't make much of a Moss order on that kind of income.
