PHOTOS!! of October OPEN HOUSE [Minnesota]
This October we are moving to a facility with over 10,000 square feet! Anyone that has been to our current location knows Just how much more this is and how difficult it has been to not announce this Earlier!
If your in town on October 17th, please stop by and have a look. Nothing terribly impressive as of yet as we will just be a few weeks into the move and building improvements but we hope that this encourages anyone thinking that there is a demise in the British car industry. That said, as we move through the month of October, we will have delays in orders and shipping. If you plan to continue your project, September may offer less delays. Thank You ALL for Your support over the last 15+ Years! Edited 3 time(s). Last edit at 10/19/2015 09:29PM by BMC. |

Re: ~Grand Announcement~ (& some Shipping delays in October)
Thank You All!
So photos beforehand. Things that will be there in one form or another: I like this photo. It is our current shop. This shop will become second in location and stature to the new one very soon. This is SEVEN cars packed in here. I'm sure we could do eight but never intentionally tried to stuff it. We have other locations we are shutting down so we can move everything under one roof and have room to open both car doors at the same time! [img][/img] |

Re: [PHOTOS!!] ~Grand Announcement~ OPEN HOUSE
The gentleman installing the 8' LED lighting in the building almost completed the main section with one small exception. I think we counted 44 - eight foot fluorescent fixtures which total 88 bulbs. Now converted to the 6500k range giving the blue appearance. Plus we went brighter than the old lights. They are bright- something that very much bothers me- paying for poor lighting technology and having no light anyways is no longer a concern. The only problem now is how well noted the beat up walls and ceiling in need of paint happen to be!
I had a fellow car fanatic stop by the new shop this evening as we were working on it. He was shocked by the space. With a building this long, I am going to lose 5 pounds in the first month if I do as much running from end to end when we are up and operating here. That said, I hope to see some faces from the British V8 website. -BMC. |

Find yourself a used industrial floor sweeper, it'll save you an incredible amount of work. A cordless electric pit scooter (i.e. GoPed) might be a hot lick...

Re: [PHOTOS!!] ~Grand Announcement~ OPEN HOUSE
Good words Jim. Yes, we now need one. It would pay/work better than having a kid with a push broom.
We need a Segway to get from one end of the building to the other plus a cordless phone that reaches that far. -BMC. |

Re: [PHOTOS!!] ~Grand Announcement~ OPEN HOUSE
So a preview before the open house... This is a small piece of the shop a few nights ago. We officially had our first work day at the shop today although most of us were sorting nuts-bolts and equipment locations.
In the photo are 5 MGBs. Only one is stock Two MG TDs one stock, the other has many MGA/MGB components on it An all standard Triumph TR3 -and my son, the photo-bomber. (since the photo- the shop has been partially painted, there are 2 Jensen Healeys and 2 more MG TDs and a few-others-not-to-be-named-yet to move in there) -BMC. |
