looking for a place to park my 1985 C4 near SEATAC
I live in NC but have family on the west coast. I purchased a corvette recently and need a place to store it near the airport in SEATAC. If anyone has room I'd like to hear from you, I'd like for it to be driven once a month for 1/2 an hour, it is equipped with a battery tender. I know the cost of the local storage units so I'm looking for an enthusiast who likes old corvettes. I use it 3-4 Xs a year. when I'm visiting my kids and grandkids. I'll arrive Monday 11-23-2015 in WA and be there for a week

Re: looking for a place to park my 1985 C4 near SEATAC
Trusted MG friends are most welcome to meet up with my son or whoever is caring for this old car and take it for a drive.
I thought about a time share arrangement, in which trusted MG people could own a couple of weeks use and rather than paying a HOA fee each "owner" would contribute storage and or service i.e. an oil change, a wash-wax, or whatever needed to be done. I drove this C4 from DFW to Indianola last Aug. without a bit of trouble and the only fluid added was a few ounces of power steering fluid. the Roadmaster MGBGT is passed around from one member of BADASS to another and this "time share" car has been on the road now for over 3 years. This concept is potential trouble but can work among friendly car enthusiasts. My need it to be able to get the car when I fly in to SEATAC. I'm hoping to share the joy and avoid the hassle of parking the car 1.5 hours North of the airport. I'd also like to avoid spending $150+ per month for self storage. My son works long hours so it is not easy for him to deliver the car to long term parking when I need it. Uber or shuttle buses trains and ferries are the other options if I continue to keep the vette at my son's home. With another grandson expected in Feb. 2016 I'll be visiting the NW again and often. |

Thanks to my son for dropping off the corvette at the airport (SEATAC)
And to Lloyd faust for selling me a reliable car to use when I'm on the west coast. |
