Dan, I will be there but don't know about who else or the car yet. So I submitted the form (and payment) for regalia and will follow up later with the registration form. Don't know yet if I will be solo.

Dan, "The check is in the mail". I thought she did it, She thought I did it, truth is Nobody did it. We are still trying to locate Nobody, cause if Nobody did it why did you not get it.

unless a schedule change happens, and it sometimes does, Brenda and I will be in Europe that week..

I did leave Brenda in Paris one year to attend the event and I was sick by the time i arrived in Townsend. I caught a bug on the plane.
and my V6 cooling fan broke,

So I think I'd better behave in 2016

If our schedule changes I'll register asap

I posted this on that other forum.

-------------------

Dan, you know I'll be there. This is our 20th annual Meet! And, my 19th.

Rich (& Lorna, I think) Moor. He reserved the Bunk House for us.

Max Fulton asked me if we had room for him.

The Grannis family at this point in time will not be in attendance this year! But that doesn't mean for sure we will not attend, schedules can change at the last minute with us. Have a great get together as always, will miss seeing everyone.

I know it's a looong haul for you & Brenda, but you would love the roads, scenery, & people. The same for West Virginia next year.

If you can manage a shorter schedule, consider flying to Knoxville & renting a new Camaro (convertible if possible). ;)

Event note: The Wednesday night music will be provided by a group of regular jammers from here in Townsend and the surrounding area. Music will be old-time songs performed on dulcimers, fiddles, banjos, guitars, hammered dulcimers, concertina, upright bass, bodhran, and who knows what else. I'm in with banjo and guitar, but don't let that keep you from coming!

I just found this place (British V8) a few days ago and I've been toying with the idea of attending the meet in Townsend. I'm not sure how this group would receive a beer guzzling, bourbon swigging, ex-biker. I've been to quite a few biker rally's and after a hard day of riding we sit around the parking lot passing the bottle and telling stories. If this is a wine and cheese type of group I'm not going to be a very good fit. I realize that this is a little abrupt but I've been searching through past threads and can't seem to get a handle on this group

Sounds like you'd fit right in - there are a couple of misdirected misfits in our group that are into the likes of Dickel, but most of us are beer drinkers.
There are no trophies or awards handed out, just a lot of tire kicking and lie swapping and the occasional contest (autocross, go-karting, track time,) - every year promises something different.
So commit to a good time and send in your registration to Dan.Masters

Never mind! Graham knows "Water's for bath'in, and Dickel's for drink'in!" Tony, you'll never notice our extra 2 wheels, once you experience our Parking Lot. Come on Down!

Tony,

If you're "genteel" enough to drive an MGB, yet "rowdy" enough to put 530hp in it, you'll probably fit right in. Most of us fall mid-range between the common (mis)perceptions of "wine and cheese" and "biker."

Even though it's Mothers Day, WAW has plans for the weekend with one of our daughters, so I guess I'm in. But you have to understand I'm a Yuengling and Red Stag type of guy, (but that moonshine, there's some good sipping whiskey) I don't talk a whole bunch but I can laugh and joke with the best of them. Not shy just have a hard time putting a story together since the stroke in 2007.

I just finished registration and I think I got the last room. 2 queen beds if anyone wants to take the extra one it's open. Male or Female, Don't worry I don't play that game, or any games for that matter.
