Main British Car:

Please help me locate my old GT V8!

Greetings to all, after an absence of nearly 1.5 decades!

Listen, I wonder if anyone could help me locate my old GT V8 conversion. It was done professionally, then I also put an enormous amount of work into it. I faced a family issue and sold it in 2004. I have no recollection as to who bought it; I believe it may have been in the Midwest USA -- they sent a truck to collect it and that was that. It is a Teal Blue '74 CB with a Rover 4.2L. I don't know my old login info, so I have created a new account, but at any rate pictures and a description of the car are on my old account at

It was a great car and mighty quick, but was a bit of a gas-guzzler since I had a pretty giant cam tossed in there and it loved gas like a fat kid loves cake!

Anyway, I'm going to try to locate the current owner and if the car hasn't been abused or crashed, see if he or she would sell it back to me.

Any leads gratefully appreciated.
