Here's a video of the Eisenhaus cruise-in that many of the BritishV8 2021 registrants attended. A shout out to Pete Mantell for finding the link.

EVENT RECAP
The Annual British V8 gathering was held in Auburn Indiana June 1st - 4th, hosted by Mike Moor and Jim Miller. The event was kicked off with a pizza party sponsored by Mantell Motorsport.

On Wednesday we had a picnic lunch at the Selman Timber Frame followed by a fun run drive where we took advantage of the 101 lakes and beautiful back roads of Steuben County. To make the Fun Run interesting, the departure time of the cars was separated by 2 minutes and had 6 trivia questions to answer as you followed the written directions for the route.

On Thursday morning there was a guided tour of the National Automobile and Truck Museum, followed by two tech sessions in the afternoon. Tire Rack provided a tech session on understanding tire ratings and good performance tire choices for a MGB. Charles Long gave a tech sesion on a phone app that will allow you to use an old cell phone camera to monitor under hood conditions while driving. Charles used the example of monitoring his fuel pressure.

Thursday evening we headed over to a Cruise-In at the Essenhaus Inn and Restaurant Middlebury Indiana. The British V8 group had 41 cars in a field of approximately 300. Our group received a lot of attention and a local photographer heavily featured our British Cars in a video. The weather was great and the roads to and from the Cruise-In were perfect for a sports car.

Friday we had guided tours of the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum. Pete Mantell provided a tech session on V8 conversion kits available from Mantell Motorsport. Pete also introduced his new conversion kit for the GM LS series motors. On Friday evening, we had our banquet at the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum where the staircase provided the perfect backdrop for our group picture. In total, we had 47 cars and 80 people in attendance.

British V8 2022 will be held in Wytheville Va, June 12th - 15th. More details will be posted on the BritishV8.org site as they become available.

If you're ever in the Auburn Indiana area, check out the National Automobile and Truck Museum and the Auburn Cord Duesenberg Museum. They are well run, have excellent displays and are very much worth a visit.

Alan Moor will also put the links on the BritishV8meet.org website.

I did discover additional pictures. I will add them at some point.

I was at the museum watching Rick and his wife get their picture taken and wasn't entirely sure why he was waving his arms like that until he showed me the original picture on his phone. Glad that both pics made it into the slide show!

(Not having met Rick in person until last week, I thought maybe he always waves his arms in the air for pictures. Like his own version of duck lips or something. Ha.)
