Posted on the MG Experience board as well.

Well, down to a few small items before the car is on the road. It's been a long 4 1/2 years with lots of bumps and turns along the way.

A couple of minor electric gremlins to sort.
Install the seats and harnesses.
Radio and speakers to finish.
Cable fixture on the carb for the cruise control..already wired.
Front wheel alignment.
Test drive!!!!!!!!!!

The custom wheel center has to be powder coated yet and an MG insignia made to fit. Anyone out there with a nice high res image that they can share?

WTG Phil! Look great and should provide many years of good service and fun. Be sure and insulate the Boot (Trunk) well so the Moosehead does not spoil!

Awesome! Did you put a vacuum reservoir on the cruise? I used one from a Corvette, and I got it at NAPA for about 10 bucks. Your car looks incredible!

Dan, no vacuum reservoir at this point. Thought I'd wait and see how the cruise works without one first.

Doing the final clean up before the guy arrives to do an appraisl for my insurance. Got a problem with the backup lights to figure out and a front end alignment before getting my registration sticker..............then.........first ride!!!!!

Hi Rob:
The car is in a friend's shop about 15 miles from my place. "Around the block" at his shop would be about an 8 mile drive. :~)

The car has been in his paint booth for over a year. I've been itching to go for a drive but there are a few obstacles behind the car, including an 1800 pound Pulmax, a small block marine engine, TIG welder and until yesterday a Buick Grand National that was having a new engine installed. The first engine, newly rebuilt last year by my friend who owns the shop, had significant damage done when the purchased re-manufactured turbo self destructed after only 200 miles. Hopefully this one will last!

Now there is a 4x4 pickup that is having the rear end rebuilt...........should be able to get the car out on the weekend. Will have insurance early next week so I can get my registration, THEN..........joy, joy, joy!!!!!

Phil, this is a beautiful car, my wife loves the blue, what application did you chose the color from?
