Sharing photos from Sema 2010! Just some of them.

Ok, when Brenda and I got to the Sema building, we started at the North building. It took us 4 hours to walk the rows of all the cleaning, polish, etc.. products. It took us 3 day's just to walk the Sema show. The last day was for the AAPEX show. Walking for 4 day's straight was an experience.

The first day, we went over to talk with Tony Mamo at the Air Flow Research booth (AFR aluminum heads). I was on ls1tech.com checking out the classified section for parts a week before the Sema show. I bought some parts from Tony. So I was dropping off some cash for a ported Fast 90mm intake, and a 90mm throttle body. My stock ls6 intake has a 78mm throttle body. So with the ported heads and cam I'm running in my Ls1, this ported Fast 90mm intake will compliment my setup very well. This will let the air flow in better. Tony was telling me that the intake came off an ls1 that was producing 500rwhp, and this ported 90mm intake will outflow the new Fast 102mm intake. So instead on paying $849 for the Fast 102 intake + $600 for Tony's hand port job + a throttle body to match at $400 +. I saved a lot and paid half for this setup.

Starting off with Ken Block the Gym kata four wheel drifters in his Ford Focus. Spec's on the Ford was a 4X4, Zero to 60mph was 1.9 seconds with 650hp.

It was different watching a four wheel drive car drift than a two wheel drive. Ken would fly across this little space and pitch the Focus sideways way before a turn, end up going backwards, and come almost to a stop, to go around the pylon several times. The Mustang was a 4.6 with 450hp supercharged. When the mustang would drift, he was going a lot faster while in the drifting mode compared to the Focus. The Mustang was putting out a lot more smoke also. Was fun to watch!

Some wild looking bikes.

"Pure Evil"

I talked with Jay who built this bike, the engine is the only thing he didn't fabricate in this bulild. Nice ride going in a straight line, but turning is a different kind of ride he said. Big dude 6'5" 280lbs or something?

Then the Black Jack Radial Chopper. "Wow" Very different, something Jay Leno would do.

The new style that is hitting streets now! There are starting to use a flat paint in all different colors on the vehicles. Some are using a satin finish.

This Mustang had a different hood hinge setup from the side. What will they think of next!

This photo is one the old style sting ray vette, that is new out on the market. It had door's that would come straight out of the side. Also check out the mid engine placement right behind the seats.

Wish I could have gone.

Not looking good for next year, either

Maybe 2012!
