Re: British V8 2012 - Schedule of Events and Registration Form
OK, the registration form and schedule are finalized and are posted on the meetings page. Go to
[www.britishv8.org]. Download the PDF version and you'll see the final schedule. We will have dyno sessions and slalom/autocross. Lots more to do. Monday we'll have a Rallye/Poker Run. Prizes and fame for the winner(s) of that. Also Monday will be a tour of the Texas State Railroad Steam Train repair facility in nearby Rusk. Kind of like a car guys' shop, but with much BIGGER stuff! Tuesday will be busy with the dyno sessions and slalom event. Tuesday night we'll have a Texas Hold 'em Poker tournament - winners will receive event regalia and top winner will also get a free hotel night. Questions - contact me directly at 972-618-1984 (evenings/home) or 214-236-0232 (day/cell). If you call during the day, and I don't answer, leave a message. I have a day job and sometimes I'm in a place where I can't talk at the time. Or you can contact me via e-mail at: wkube (at) augustmail (dot) com. Looking forward to seeing everyone in Palestine! Send in your registration now. |

Here is an example of the regalia for British V8 2012. The shirts (t-shirts, polos, sweatshirts) will be the same blue with the logo embroidered on like the hat here. We need to turn in the regalia order no later than April 23, so send me your registrations!

Re: British V8 2012
Hi Wayne, I'll register later today... Have had hotel registered for a while, just hadn't taken the time to send in the meet registration but will fix that. I know you need to know numbers and have the registration fees to make it all happen. Definitely appreciate the work you're putting into it!!

Re: British V8 2012
Registered. If Mark's Mayflower is anything like the mini, it'll be one to see.
Wayne, if you need any help as things draw closer, don't hesitate to reach out. I have family in Dallas area so could make a family visit out of it too. |

Yes. I spoke to Mark on the phone. He no longer has the Mini, and expects/hopes to have the Mayflower finished in time for Palestine. Wayne |

Re: British V8 2012
Never been to Palestine, but looking @ the map it looks to be about 3hrs -- sort of depends where in Houston... Spring/Woodlands area would be about 2.5hrs; Katy, Friendswood, or southern areas you could easily add an hour.
Looks to be a pretty straight shot though - US84 from Palestine to Buffalo where you'd pick up I45 & head south. |

There may be others that registered that way that you're not seeing yet too. Rob and all - There's no problem with the form submission as far as I can tell. Just that PayPal and/or my e-mail took about a day for it to land in my inbox. The payment landed in my PayPal account no problem. Wayne |
