Looking for a car
Posted by: englishrumble

I'm looking for a completed chrome bumper MGB, TR4, or TR6 with a V8. I'm interested in a 'stock' appearing vehicle. Engine type is not critical as long as the V8 conversion is well done. Also hoping for a 5 speed manual. I would like to get a car that is completely sorted out. If you have one you are ready to pass on, or know of anything please let me know. Thanks

Leonard Marshall was selling his; take a look @ it in the gallery and if you want his contact info let me know. It is about as well done and sorted as you're likely to find.

Tim,
Did you check out the 72 Monster in the classifieds? [forum.britishv8.org]

This might meet the criteria too:

Thanks for both tips. The TR6 V8 conversion looks nice, but the car is a little too far from stock for me. The B looks great, but it needs paint and an interior, so the $ don't work for me.

Please keep sending or posting your suggestions.

Check out this 1975 TR6 with a 5.0L Ford engine. The car looks like it was done by a professional. This car has been for sale since the spring of 2010 so the owner might move a little on the price. I have seen it for sale on a number of websites here are a few:

The 75 TR6 with the Ford 5.0 is gone, even though it's still on several websites.....Soooo I'm still looking.
Thanks for the tip and please keep sending any other suggestions my way.
