This year's featured "marque" is "modified" cars! This event ends on Sunday morning, while our V8 meet starts Sunday evening. Come one down and take in both events. I talked the host club into featuring modified cars this year, so let's show them what we've got! Here's the flyer for this event: |

Re: British Car Gathering 24, Townsend, TN
i don't think so, but the Driver does. Phil,I hope we can co-ordinate and make the trek on the Cherolaha happen!
Look Fwd to seeing ALL the Old and Young friends again! The V8 and Other Mods average age seeems to be getting younger, contrary to the regular MG average age. Guess that indicates we are growing since no one wants to return to the "Lack of Performance" age. Have a SAFE Trip You'All |

"I'll try to get there bright and early Sunday morning.
JB" I'll be in Florence late Friday to haul it down. Cause the Roadmaster REALLY needs to be there bright & early SATURDAY morning. After all, the Watsons & the Masters have deemed the show "Featuring the Modifieds". Even if not quite finished, the King of the British Modifieds needs to make the car show! |

It has been said that "no one is useless; you can always serve as a bad example." I guess my life has not been wasted then, as I have served as a good bad example for Jim Watson and the local car club.
Carl, bring the Roadmaster down for the BBC show on Saturday, and I'll pay the registration fees. |

Re: British Car Gathering 24, Townsend, TN
The only reason I can't come Saturday is that I don't have a room for that night. Sounded like the last time I changed my reservation I wouldn't be able to get Saturday. I'll look into it though. You're right Carl, the car really should be there.

Re: British Car Gathering 24, Townsend, TN
I am now officially registered for both events. The bad news is I will probably be alone this year. (You’ll have to put up with my lack of adult supervision.) The good news is I have a spare reservation at the Talley Ho for the 15th-18th that I would be happy to try to transfer to someone. Talley Ho and Highland Manor were both booked for the 13th & 14th, but the Econolodge still had rooms.
