Flat tires
I just wanted to drop a note and pump up Curtis's tires a bit.
I'm not generally one to cruise forums but recently I had the occasion to do so looking for some information. Trying to navigate some of these mazes or extract any meaningfull information was ghastly. I have to commend Curtis for the quality of this site. I find it easy to use, well laid out, attractive and usefull. It's the only forum that I belong to and for good reason it seems. It attracts a vast array of quality people that make this journey so enjoyable. This speaks volumes of the skill and dedication that Curtis pours into this site. In my trade everyone likes to tell you whats wrong, I just want to let Curtis know whats very right. Cheers Fred Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 06/04/2011 10:55AM by DiDueColpi. |

Re: Flat tires
You guys are very kind.
Luckily, the message board mostly takes care of itself nowadays. It's been a dreadful year... I'm in Virginia helping to take care of mom (who has Alzheimers and who also broke her hip in January). I think I've been here about five of the last nine months, more or less. That's really cut my productivity and the amount of time I have available to work on BritishV8. I know I've failed to reply to hundreds of e-mails. I especially want to apologize to all the people who have e-mailed me questions or even HIWD submissions, and who haven't gotten replies. There's still air in my tires, and I'll get them turning again before long. Thanks for your patience and understanding. |

Curtis,
Great to hear from you, sad to hear of your situation. We missed you in Townsend this year, now we know the reason. Take your time, family comes first. Take care and let us know if there is any way we can help. Paul and Mary |

Re: Flat tires
I'll echo the other comments Curtis -- I'm sure this is draining on you on several fronts. But it's great you're stepping up for your mom -- cherish the moments you have with her. My prayers are with you too & like Paul, if there's anything I can do, don't hesitate to let me know.

Curtis, our thoughts and prayers are with you. Many of us have been through this and it is a trying experience. I think Robs statement about cherishing the time you have left with your parents really says it all. Keep the faith my friend!
