Re: Bill and Kathy Young - Kansas City
This in from Bill:
"... We'll have a visitation and short memorial service on Tuesday evening at 6:30 at McGilley's Funeral Home, 123 street and State Line. Kathy wouldn't have wanted to spend money on a lot of flowers, so if anyone wishes to honor her in any way I'd suggest a donation to one of the animal charities such as WaySide Waifs or ASPCA...." |

I never met Bill or his wife, but from watching a few years of Bill's postings on the forum you can't help but feel like you knew them personally. He needs support in these difficult times; therefore Bill, please accept my deepest condolences and prayers.

I want to thank all of you for your kind words of solace and let you know that the support shown here has indeed helped me deal with my loss. I never knew the amount of impact my posts have had over the years. I now know that I have many friends around the country and world that I was not aware of and feel their support, and it eases my heart. Thanks again to all of you. Bill

Re: Bill and Kathy Young - Kansas City
Bill,
Never underestimate the impact of kindness towards others. Reading your posts reveals a kind and generous soul I too feel like I know you. At times like this you need the support of your friends, and you are among them here. When one hurts we all hurt. My heart goes out to you. I took Rick's suggestion and made a donation to the SPCA today in Kathy's name. I hope others will do the same. Regards Fred |
