Sorry, I just had to offer this up. A blond tries to calculate miles-per-hour . . .

Definitely mathematically challenged - hope she has other skillsets.

I'll bet she does. I'm so glad I married a smart blonde. All kinds of skill sets. ;-)

A little over the top, but I have had similar conversations with my spouse :-) Another favorite of mine is explaining baseball statistics e.g. Me: The Cincinnati Reds are 3 1/2 games ahead of the Cardinals...Spouse response: that's impossible, you can not play 1/2 of a baseball game :-)

Not quite a time/distance quiz but very similar.

A few years ago, our neighbours were traveling north on I95 in Maine very late at night. He was sleeping in the passenger seat while she was driving. He woke up at one point and noted that she was driving at well over the posted limit. When he asked why, she replied that they were getting low on gas and she wanted to get to the next service centre as soon as possible before they ran out. And she's NOT blonde. :~)

I'll bet it will be a long time before he experiences her "other skill sets" again!!

That's what I was thinking Phil. But then again, my wife has been known to tell me the best way to get out of a hole is to quit digging.
