We plan to leave Jonesville, NC Friday morning 5-18 and take mostly interstates.
Passing thru Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, then I-20 west. We are undecided on our overnight stop for Friday night sorta depends on when our sore backs say enough already or when we have been on the road abt 10 hours. I tend to need a stretch/ pee break abt every 2 hours. Getting old is not for sissies. Message us if you'll be using that route so we can be on the look out for other British V-8 travelers. my cell is three 3six 462-one14seven.

Ken in is first class quality mirage 3.4 V-6 powered MG and PJ in his red and bruised no beauty but runs well V-6 MG; drove from Winston-Salem & Jonesville, NC to Tuscalusa ,Alabama today. Tomorrow we will meet up with some other Brit engine upgrade petrol heads in Shreveport, La. for a pre-event party. Then on Sunday we will drive on to the Brit V-8 meet in Palestine,TX. Found fuel as low as $3.30/US gal, we each used about 20 gals to cover 504 miles.

Fun day at a local restoration shop then a banquet with plenty of laughs. Our organizers did a fine job putting this event together, smooth and yummy food.
