I loaned a camera to Jim Watson and he gave it back to me with wonderful pics on it. I have a lot of sorting yet to do... but here are two early favorites from that batch:

Nice pics, guys!

I've just pasted together a rough draft photo-article about the cars of BritishV8 2012. Check it out here:

The Cars of BritishV8 2012

Please let me know how to make it more complete and accurate.

Notice: I need an attractive photo of Nick Pappas' MGB V8 to complete this article. I took photos of Nick's very excellent car, but failed to get any with all four wheels installed. Please let me know if you can help.

Can you help?

Artie Clark shared a memory card full of awesome shots with me.

Here are three especially nice ones that might work as a "banner" for the top of a meet summary article:

1)
BannerTest-1.jpg

2)
BannerTest-2.jpg

3)
BannerTest-3.jpg

The idea is to capture the essence of the meet in 200 pixels of column height.

For that purpose, which one do you like best and why?

====

All through the meet, an old Michelle Shocked song kept rattling around in my head. You guys know this one?

Quote:
Memories of East Texas and those piney green rolling hills
Covered in the springtime with golden daffodils
Rowing on Sandy lake come April, harvesting hay in June
Sitting by the road watching wellfires burn by an old October moon

I learned to drive on those East Texas red clay backroads
And I mean to tell you my friend they weren't no easy roads
You had to watch out for all the curves down by Kelsey Creek
And detour through the Lindsey's pasture when the waters ran too deep

Either #1 or #3 -- I like #3 best but for a future BV8 meet, I think #1 is best - shows the diversity, driving, etc.
