Artie and I got back around 6:30 PM EDT on Thursday. We actually surprised our wives and were able to go to dinner with them. I really, really enjoyed the meet. Thanks for all the hard work Bill and crew!
Take care Scott |

Just wait until next year...and the auction....I will take no prisoners! You got off easy this year, considering your "rookie status".

So you're a jackstand collector??! Yet ours were not good enough for you. We'll have to do something about that.

Re: British V8/V6 2013
Guys,
This, too, was my first Brit V8 (& V6) event and I only wish I could have been on hand for more of the good times. But the time I did have for my good times with the Brit V8/V6 gathering was wonderful. Just hope I can be on hand for the next. one. keep them on the track, phillip g |

Phil, you and Robert need to know that the real fun is sitting around swapping lies and drinking Bass with the boys. You just scratched the surface at the track. It's a shame that you guys couldn't stay longer.

A little late posting but we only returned home Tuesday afternoon after 13 days on the road. One of the missions, Turtle Rescuing. They don't cross the road quickly so as we spotted them, we'd brake hard, stop, pick them up and complete their crossing. Here's a few of the ones we photograghed:
Little guy: Big old Nebraska Bugger: He tried to claw Katie's fingers: Nice eyes: -Highlights of the trip: -British V8/V6 - Thanks Bill Young and friends -Jaguar Club of North America, Challenge Championship, June 12th to 16th, Richmond Va.. -Nashville, Country Music Awards. Stats of the trip: 13 days, 4,600 miles Endurance run: Omaha, Ne. to Richmond, Va. in 20 hours, total of 1,303 miles Used 48.8 US gallons fuel on that run giving 26.7 miles/US gal or 32 miles/imp. gal. travelling 70-90 m/hr. |
