Do any of you take AutoWeek magazine? I subscribed for about ten years, but sadly my subscription has lapsed.

Reason I asked... I got hired to write a short article for it, and my ~400 words appear in the new (October 15) edition. I haven't seen it yet, but the "by line" should show my name and also "BritishRacecar.com". Cool, eh?

Run out and buy yourself a subscription. It's my new favorite magazine.

That's great Curtis. Hope it is just the first of more to come from your pen.

That's real good. Between that and rubbing shoulders at the race track I'd say you are on your way, just keep at what you are doing. You are beginning to be recognized. You have gotten a good foundation here so be sure to not forget what you have learned. No matter how high you rise you will never find any better people and we all want to see you do well. You have been seeing that the high and mighty are really no different than anybody else and that is a good thing but what I can tell you is that you will run across pockets of folks who think they are somehow better and I'd suggest you use them if you must and avoid them if you can. Make sure you know how to tell which is which. The regular folks are the ones that will help you. The others just want to use.

Jim

Curtis, That's great! I'll keep checking my mail box. Keep the articles coming! I've been reading Autoweek since it was in newspaper format! PS Those were nice pics you took at the Glen!

Hi Jack!

I thought it used to be like a newspaper. I used to read it back then.

Somewhere in the loft, I've got a boxful of these from the late 60's/early 70's.

Curtis, I have been through my October 15 issue three times and do not see the article. What am I missing?
