Omaha head count
Getting ready to make final arrangements for the kart track and Mid America Motorplex. Trying to keep the cost as low as possible on the registration so would like a head count of those planning on participating in either of these activities at a cost of approximately $30 per person on the karting (3 hours of track rental) and a cost of around $80 per person at the track. If we don't have around 30 or so participants then the cost might be excessive for our budget. Please let me know how you guys feel by emailing me at mgmidgetbill@gmail.com . There are a lot of guys in the group that don't read this fourm often, please pass this information on to anyone you can think of. Would like to have a tentative number by the end of the month so we can print up the registration forms. Thanks.

Thanks for your efforts Bill. Can't wait! Count me out of the carting this time. I'm in for the Mid America track time for sure.Mike

Re: Omaha head count
Bill, is there anyplace that has listed the activities for specific days? I can't be there the whole time, so I need to know what is what. I'd love to do the track time at MAM. By comparison, our club is doing a track day at MAM this friday, and for anyone without their "license" you're required to do their full day driving school that costs $195. If they're going to let us on track for $80 that's a pretty good deal. I wanted to do the driving school this week but my car just isn't ready.

Re: Omaha head count
Bill,
Count me in on the MAM Track Day with the Brit V8 group. With all the changes made on the GT2 RV8 this past winter, there is no better place in the world to check out all the ways to screw up "improvements" ...than MAM near Omaha ! FYI ... Robert Maupins and I towed the RV8 to Heartland Park in Topeka last Wednesday for a scheduled test session at their "First Wednesday of the Month Track Day" only to discover that they had cancelled the event due to a little rain. Bummer. So count me in for the Brit V8 Track Day at MAM ! keep them on the track, phillip g |

I'm probably going to just watch this year. But it does sound like fun.
