Kudos to Paul & Mary Schils, British V8 Meet!
Just got home this PM and had to tell all what a GREAT time i had. it seemed like everyone had a great time. the activities planned by our hosts were extremely enjoyable. The trip to Oshkosh museum and the Schils' cook out were well worth the money and time to attend. Paul & Mary did a great job and everything turned out great!
Thank You, Paul & Mary! |

I got in near midnight. Over 14 1/2 hours of hard driving, just gas stops. Had to eat a 75 mph hamburger. Waaay too long to be in an MGB.
Big, BIG thanks to Paul & Mary for an outstanding British V8 Meet. The most fun I've had all year! |

Re: Kudos to Paul & Mary Schils, British V8 Meet!
Ditto on the above comments...Paul & Mary put on a first class event.
Thankfully, all rumours that Seibkens bar was torn down, have been disproved. Took 10 hours to get home - 5 of those, it seems, getting through Chicago! |

Re: Kudos to Paul & Mary Schils, British V8 Meet!
My wife Jen and I had the best time in a long time, felt everyone was very friendly and welcomed a non-british BUT v8 converted vehicle to the meet. Great group of people willing to show off their machines and be able to look under the hood. My dad would have had so much fun, he's going to have to bring his British v8 minus 4 out next time ;-)

Re: Kudos to Paul & Mary Schils, British V8 Meet!
Mega Dittos's on the above comments!! Kay and I had a great time and really enjoyed meeting everyone again...(Kelly, the G. Dickel slid down real easy) We took our time getting back (stopped at Nashville Indiana for a day or so) and actually did not get home till last night...as Rick Ingram said, every V8 meet has its different nuances that make it unique..and this one was no exception...everything planned out so well......Paul and Mary were great hosts, did a yeomans job of putting this together, and deserve accolades for their efforts!!! I thought it was terrific the way the neighbors participated at the cookout on Tuesday evening...and now that I'm home, I'll spend a week or two cleaning up that h*llhole I call a garage in a feeble attempt to duplicate Pauls immaculate workshop :-) :-)

Re: Kudos to Paul & Mary Schils, British V8 Meet!
Thank you Paul and Mary for hosting a truly wonderful meet. Carol and I had a great time and enjoyed every minute. All the activities were well planned and were interesting and fun. You went above and beyond by opening up your home and gardens to the group. We're glad you did, the BBQ really brought the group together and was most enjoyable....great food, great music, great friends & neighbours, in a beautiful setting. Once again, many thanks!!!
