I have subscribed to his emails for a couple years. If you go through the archives, he has some really interesting stuff. I especially liked the articles on aero improvements he has done.

Aren't professional engineers "gear-heads" by nature anyway!?!?! This web site delivers ideas for us the basic blue collar "gear-heads". Intellectual curiosity is a force to reckon with (LOL)
