It's a bit early, but not too early to start planning. Jim Watson and I are thinking about organizing a gathering back here in Townsend and the Smokey Mountains if there is enough interest. Any one interested? Let us know, please.

Yes, very interested. I haven't experienced Townsend at all yet and am very anxious to.

Best of my memory indicates the 2014 is handled by Larry Barnes in Colorado Springs, then, 2015 is being handled by "The Three Stooges" at Indy. This leaves Dan & Jim doing Townsend in 2016? Someone will correct me if I am in error.

Been to all the other years in Townsend including the unusual wet event in 2011.....great venue if you like twisty roads.

Dan,

Max & Emily (Okay, Max) mentioned hosting another event near Durham, NC possibly in 2016, as well. I would like to do them both again!

Some year we really should try to do something in West Virginia. As Ken and Katie will attest, there are a lot of really great roads there.

Dan - should be "as they is" not "as they are". Get your grammar right.

Since "The Three Stooges" are hosting 2015, it is only fitting that "The Dynamic Duo" host 2016. I'll be there!

It's official - Jim & I have definately commited to organizing the 2016 meet here in Townsend. The date is still to be determined, but probably May or June.

Dan, could one other option be in conjunction with the 5th Annual Oct. Gathering in Townsend? Perhaps that is just too much going on for a week and week-end? Glad to see another one closer to Right Coast.

Kelly,

That's an option. What do others think?

May and October are te two best months to visit the Smokies. In May the greenery is at it's lushest; in October you have the fall colors, but you also have the crowds.
