Any Texans going to British V8 2014?

I would really like to go. My MG can make the trip, but it has no top and that might be a problem for rain, etc. I was thinking that if two or three of us could take a truck and a trailer and save on expenses that way. We could meet up somewhere in TX and then continue on from there.

I don't have a truck but would be happy to chip in on expenses. If anyone is interested, please let me know.

My email is darianhenderson@gmail.com or my number is 210 862 7683.

Thanks

Darian, I'm planning to go, but pretty sure my wife is joining me and we'll be driving the MG. Will let you know if that changes.

Thanks for letting me know. I'd like to go, but not in the heat and rain. OK, maybe the heat, but...

You only get wet if you drive too slow or stop completely.

I'm not sure what a top for an MGA costs but you might come close to buying one for the money you'd spend on a truck. Just a thought.

That's a good point and I may go that route, but I wanted to see if anyone else wanted to trailer their cars up the there.

What is a trailer? A trailer is a handy device for moving your car when it can't move on its own. Otherwise, they're just good for gathering rust in your back yard.

Your must be worrying about the heat and rain while driving across Texas.

Yeah, we're in a drought, but when it does rain, it comes all at once...
