We have our due compliment of bikers and ex-bikers. Wouldn't expect any difficulty.

I had planned to be there but won't be able to make it.
Have two rooms booked in the old section of the Tally Ho (the Original Eight). I'll be cancelled the reservation in the next day or two. If anyone wants them, get in touch. Phil |

Re: British V8 2016 attendee list
I've sent in my registration, bought plane tickets, and recruited a co-driver! I'll be joined by my very good friend Don Moyer, who also joined me for (part of) the 1998 meet in Annapolis. I'll fly into DC and celebrate Mothers Day briefly. Then, Donnie and I will enjoy the road trip to Townsend together. We haven't found a suitable car just yet. Still scheming.
I'm really looking forward to seeing you guys! |

Thanks, Scott!
I still can't figure out why I could not scale that pic with BB Code. Did you use HTML or BB Code? |

Re: British V8 2016 attendee list
HTML. Here's what I used. Take the spaces on the ends out. The aspect ratio isn't quite right but close enough.

Re: British V8 2016 attendee list
Cool, I was unaware that we could just throw out HTML here. That is why I was trying to do it with the BB Code brackets.
This is the size from Google Images. The one from the website was way to large for here. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 04/21/2016 07:49PM by MGBV8. |

Re: British V8 2016 attendee list
If you resize it like this, the original aspect ratio is maintained.

Yep. Plus, I do not want to "steal" a pic & then resize & upload it. So I prefer to link to it. Seems legal to me. :)

Carl and Scott....I would love to jump in and contribute to the "resize, BB code, aspect ratio, etc. conversation but the truth is, I have no clue...chuckle..

Re: British V8 2016 attendee list
Engine is running perfect again, new tires on all 4 corners, and 4 wheel alignment. I dropped it off at Eldred Hot Rod this morning to have it final buffed and polished and new mirrors installed. I'm not sure if I want to drive it down to Townsend or haul it in my trailer. The weather up here has been pretty cold and wet, not very conducive to driving this hot rod around. It's a 10 hr drive south from here and having ridden to Florida and back at least a dozen times during this time of year I know I'm going to hit some weather that I really don't want to be in. Anybody know what the weather has been like in that area, I was talking to a OFOPOS Brother that lives about 20 minutes west of Townsend and he said he's only been out on his bike a few times this year. I could pull down to my brothers in Harrisonburg VA and drive in from there but that add 2 hours to the trip. I hate having options because I always make the wrong choice.

If you stop in Harrisonburg, be sure to go to Jess's for some chili dogs! If I thought they'd make it in the mail, I'd have you send me some!
