Graham, only 38kph? Mine was reading 60. Good thing it wasn't set to kph or it would have read 96.5. ;)

I want to say "THANK YOU" to everyone at the gathering Weds night who went out of their way to make my wife and myself feel welcome. The cars were incredible and the people were better.....
We put together an album of some of the photos my wife took.... [goo.gl] Fig |

Nice pictures, Fig. I think I saw you and your wife (and maybe someone else with you?) but when you posted earlier about wheelchair accessibility, I was assuming it would be you be in the wheelchair. Sorry I didn't welcome you, but if you're close to Maryville, check out the Blount British Car Club meeting at Maryville's library on the second Thursday of the month at 6:30.

Mickey
Thanks for the info on the Blount British Car Club! The way the event was lain out I was able to use my walker to move around and get a good look at all the cars. Think there is a shot of Curtis and I with the red MGB LS in the album. Glad you enjoyed the pics... I am lucky that my wife is as much of a car junkie as I and is pretty good in the photog dept to boot... Fig |

The Gathering is October 6-8, 2016.
This is confusing this year, as October 1st falls on a Saturday. Be sure to reserve your room at the Tally Ho on the correct weekend! |

I did that at the V8 Meet in Wisconsin when we visited the EAA Museum in Oshkosh. Chose the light acrobatic maneuvers flight.

Here's a link to the first article to come out of this awesome meet:
The Cars of BritishV8 2016 Let me know if you spot any errors or omissions. I'm looking for better photos of PJ's car and of Paul Schils' car. I'm missing hometown names for a couple participants. For that matter, I'm pretty sure I'm missing names in my list of people who participated but didn't bring sports cars. |
