Besides the weather, I didn't want to spread the cold from hell around. I was thinking of the fun you all were having throughout the day as I was pushing snow! See you in June!

Per a note from Max, I've edited the list (on page 1 of this thread) this morning to show that Dave Kirkman and Chris Powell have now reserved rooms.

Made my reservation today at the Extended Stay. Planning to take in at least one day of the Heacock Classic Races at VIR as well.

I'm not sure if the MGB will be up to a long drive in early June without quite a few local miles to iron out any issues. Options are bringing the Mazda, the motorcycle or fly/rent. It is reassembled and in epoxy primer and hi-build primer waiting for warmer weather for final paint and the interior and top. The drive train is complete with about one hour running on the jack stands.

This is my second run at attended the British v8 meet......had to cancel attendance at the last minute in 2006. Looking forward to it!

I can attest that you will have a great time even if you can't bring your V8, I did in Wisconsin last year! Looking forward to meeting you.

Add me to the list, I made my reservation yesterday. Oh, and Curtis, the registration form has the wrong phone number for the hotel... it has (919) 841-2878. Should be (919) 941-2878.

As you can tell I haven't been involved much on this site, cut internet at house (job layoff). but currently back at work and was wondering about your meet. My car is in pieces and was wondering if I should drive up for Sunday & Monday (my two days off)

what will be going on these two days. will I have a chance to see everybody and check out there cars all in one place at different times. Basically just a run down on what I can do for those two days. Thanks Mighty Midget (V-8 Bugeye)

John, here's the posted schedule as of today - there may be some minor tweaking between now and June, so keep checking back on this site.

It has been awhile since I have been on the site. Job, kids schedule etc getting in the way. But I saw on my calender the V8 meet is coming up. glad I was able to find imformation about it. My wife and I need a break from the kids thought we would join you all. I don't know if we should register or not? We are new to the British sport and look forward to completing a car some day. This would be a great learning experience for us.

Yep...if you're coming to the meet, you REALLY need to register. It's a learning and friendship experience for the enthusiasts....not just the conversion. There are costs involved if you bring a car or not...if you stay for one day or all three/four......you will not be disappointed...it's worth evey penny and more of the registration fee!

:)
