Of course I'd have had to go the Richard route with turbo v6 to replace the VW motor. If only it'd been closer.

That would have helped. I only ran across it about an hour before the auction ended. Would have needed someone with a tow vehicle & place to store it... was too much to try & coordinate. I could fly out to close the deal & help get it somewhere but I wouldn't be in a position to trailer it back to TX till sometime this summer.

We could have worked it out. I have a Silverado Z71 & could have borrowed a trailer.
