That actually would be a great forecast if it holds. Not too hot and not too cold.

40% for showers and 60% for GOOD. Gambling odds, looks favorable. Even 50-50 is good, will or won't. We will have a great week!

No visible marked Alcohol containers in public. Colored cups are OK in Hotel Lot and the Park for Bar B Q. No open alcohol container in autos is state law. Lets all be compliant and safe. Arrive alive and return home safe and sound. :-)

Which sucks since they raised the speed limit on I-81 thru Virginia to 70. So, 11 mph over the limit is reckless driving?! that is BS!

I think they did this because of all the revenue they lost when they bumped it from 65 mph to 70. They used to write 19,000 speeding tickets per month on I-81 in Virginia.

Disclaimer: I usually do the speed limit +5 to +7 in Virginia & they don't even bat an eye when I blow thru their speed traps. Knock on wood....fingers crossed. ;)

Many thanks to Kelly, Carl, Rick, and everyone else responsible for putting this together this year. Sorry I bugged out early and missed the dinner and auction, but had to get back home. Was able to make a couple of short solo drives as well as grab some recovery time after the week in the motorhome with the grandkids (!), and the Log House Restaurant (or whatever its name) was great!

Was great seeing all of you again - especially PJ, even if it was only for a couple hours. Really glad you made the trip, and thanks to your pal, Ron, for bringing you.

Looking forward to seeing many of you here in Townsend in Sept. We'll be putting together some options for drives that maybe you haven't discovered yet.

Cheers!
Mickey

Also, many thanks to Kelly's wife, Sandy, & his friend, David. They did much of the heavy lifting.

Like Mickey said, it sure was great to see everyone again, meet some new faces, & see some that haven't been in a while, like Ozzie Pillion.

Hope everyone enjoyed the Meet this year as much as I did!

Prefect event! The weather could have been better and the rain on Wednesday allowed us to do other things. Thanks to everyone that helped. I will post some pictures when I get a chance to log on with my computer.

Had a great time connecting with old friends and meeting some new ones. Congrats to Kelly and Sandi and the whole crew for putting together an excellent meet. Wytheville area has some wonderful roads and scenery.
Got home Friday in time for a late dinner. We lost over an hour in a traffic snarl Thursday afternoon in CT. and lost about a half hour Friday morning getting around Worcester, MA

Ralph and I got to Waco yesterday (Friday) at about 4:30. I posted on MGE, but wanted to thank Kelley, Sandy, Carl, David, Rick and everyone else who helped plan and prepare for the meet. The location was excellent and I really appreciate the work everyone did to make it enjoyable for the rest of us. Whoever came up with the raffle idea, that was great! And, Max did a great job on the auction.

Looking forward to St Louis next June!

I want to thank everyone involved for making British V8 2019 such a GREAT event.
Especially Kelly although as we all know it was really Sandy and Mary Jo that really did all of the hard work.
