Really? I can find no reference to that piece of info.

There is an R, though. It's in the make, not the model.

Courtesy of Wikipedia, the various Riley models produced were:
Saloons: Adelphi, Deauville, Falcon, Kestrel, Mentone, Merlin, Monaco, Stelvio
Coupes: Ascot, Lincock
Touring: Alpine, Lynx, Gamecock
Sports: Brooklands, Imp, MPH, Sprite
Limousines: Edinburgh, Winchester
....not sure what Germanic deity Carl had in mind but he probably lived the life of Riley.

And I was thinking he meant Aldis. Isn't my face red...

I'll bet he's talking about the Elf then.

We have a winner! The Riley Elf it is.

I was not familiar with them 'til a local club member bought one.

Ok, next one.

An "evolution" of this was fitted to the worlds worst car.

This description was taken directly from Wikipedia:

"The system replaces the separate springs and dampers of a conventional suspension system with integrated, space efficient, fluid filled, displacer units, which are interconnected between the front and rear wheels on each side of the vehicle.

Each displacer unit contains a rubber spring, and damping is achieved by the displaced fluid passing through rubber valves. The displaced fluid passes to the displacer of the paired wheel, thus providing a dynamic interaction between front and rear wheels."

What am I? Bonus for the car I'm thinking of...

No. Neither of those would make it onto my top 10 worst cars, let alone worst ever.
That honour goes to the Austin Allegro (although I'd have allowed the Princess), which was fitted with the Hydragas "system".

Did you see the Top Gear episode where they proved BL actually did make one "good" car?
