Re: British V8 2009, Where you coming from? Wanna Hook Up for the Run?
Mary and I arrived in Havelock, NC last night. We drove in the rain all day and encountered torrential downpours in the mountains o Virginia. We trailered our car because, with only 35 miles on the OD and no time to really sort it out, we felt an 1100 mile trip was kind of taking a chance. All day yesterday we were thankfull we made that decision. Hopefully we drained the sky of all rain for the next week.
Havelock is about 150 miles east of Durham and we'll drive up Sunday. We hope you all have a safe trip, we're really looking forward to seeing you all again. Paul and Mary |

Re: British V8 2009, Where you coming from? Wanna Hook Up for the Run?
Jim, Kay and I will be staying someplace between Charleston and Beckley (on I-77) on Saturday evening....would love to hook up with you guys on the final leg Sunday into Durham....the plan now is that Scott Costanza will be leaving Columbus, Ohio around 9 AM Sunday....he is going to call me when he gets close to Charleston and then we will meet at my motel for the final leg down to NC...you could basically do the same thing and give me a call Sunday AM to see where we are logistically....Scott may not be driving his V6 mg as he is working feverishly to correct some clutch problems...but he will becoming regardless...I will be driving my red gt (good lord willing and the creek don't rise) I sent a personal email containing my cell # and Scott Costanzas. Let me know your cell # and hopefully we can pull this off!!
cheers mike |
