Wanted buick/rover 215 to MGB transmission adapter plate
looking for the transmission adapter plate that allows MGB transmission / bellhousing to mount to buick/rover v8.
I think there are some guys on the board that have one installed. If anyone has one lying around I could purchase or could email me a dimensioned drawing I would be etternaly grateful. Cheers John. |

Re: Wanted buick/rover 215 to MGB transmission adapter plate
Last I heard and this was YEARS ago to put a MGB tranny on a rover you have to remove/cut off some parts of the rover block where the starter is......It is a ton of work and when your done you have outside of using the engine on a MGB tranny a useless engine for any other transmission.

John,
I have the complete setup. Adapter plate, proper flywheel, pressure plate, newly rebuilt MGC clutch disk, slave cylinder and starter. Let me know if you're interested. Paul |

There is a guy in Denver/Aurora CO that had one of these setups. You might try Denver Craigslist or the TR8 forums.
