Re: AUSTIN HEALEY 100/4 BN2 WANTED
Wow! That's one sweet looking Healey and, even at $155,000, not too outrageously priced. Wonder how many of the original 4-banger M cars have survived? Healey Rick?

Re: AUSTIN HEALEY 100/4 BN2 WANTED
A 100M was modified at the Healey works and included hi comp pistons, uprated cam, larger carbs and airbox, larger sway bar, uprated shocks and the louvered bonnet and leather strap. There were 640 of these documented. To add to the confusion, there was a "LeMans" kit that could be installed by dealers or private owners. The kit generally contained all the parts on the M, except for the hi comp pistons. Here's the background: [www.100mregistry.com] A genuine factory M is worth a ton and there has been for a number of years a number of fakes being put together, so it's really a buyer beware purchase. As far as the OP goes, BN2s were not all aluminum. All aluminum cars were limited to the pre-production BN1s and the 100S cars. Here's some more history: [www.britishracecar.com] I haven't seen any numbers of how many Ms have been registered in the Registry,
