215 clutch flywheel and bellhousing

I was at the local Pull and save wrecking yard today and the is a Opel Manta with a stuck 215 buick with a clutch and 3 speed. If any one needs this i could go pull it. The intake is gone and the motor will not turn with the fan. I have only seen a few stick setups for a 215 I believe they are hard to come by.

The 3 speed bellhousing is said to be different from the 4 speed (muncie pattern, T5), however Saginaw made a 3 speed that I'm pretty sure used the same pattern. There was at one time I believe, an adapter plate to go from the 3 speed bell to the 4 speed. It may be possible to redrill for the 4 speed pattern.

Someone should go get that, even if just for the flywheel.

There were some bellhousing with both 3 & 4 speed pattern. Mine was this way & only the 3 speed holes were threaded. I had to run a tap into the 4 speed holes

The bellhousing looks to be standard chevy pattern. If any one needs it i will pull it for a small fee.

You'd better pull it anyway. They'll probably only want $50 for it and it's worth twice that anyway. If the flywheel is flat that goes for it too.

Did you ever pull that bellhousing Michael? I would be interested in it probably. I have a GM T-5 that I would love to actually be able to connect to my 215.
