SOLD - Pair of Miata seats, modded for MBG use for sale.
For all of you coming to ABFM in Portland weekend. I have a set of Miata seats in excellent condition for sale that I will bring with me They are curently installed in my 1969 MGB roadster and are the same seats that were in the car when it came in first in its class at the show two years ago (I was in Europe last year) . I have a new pristine set of late model two tone grey and black seats arriving mid-week and hope to have them installed in time for ABFM. I will bring the original set with me to the show, the seat cushions were professionally repaired locally, due to the driver's side being worn, using a hard wearing velour material since the original OEM fabric was not available. The rest of the seats were in excellent condition and required no further work. The material used in the repair has lightened slightly in the summer sun and I would now describe it as a light gold-brownish color with a purplish tinge. The photos capture the color very well. The seats sliders are modified to use the adapters from www.crateparts.com/mgbseatkits.html. I will be keeping the dapters for my new seats.
I just took a three and a half hour trip in the car yesterday and the seats remained comfortable for the whole journey. I'm asking for offers for the pair. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 09/10/2016 12:24PM by MGBV8. |

Hi Limey,
Is there a "how to" anywhere that shows how to convert a Mazda seat to work in a MGB? I have a 1980 B and was considering this as a option. -Dino |
