v8 project car for sale...value?-taking offers/part out or sell complete?
I have a rust free 1976 v8 project car that I started gathering parts and information for 15+ years ago and never started. To be honest I do not know what a fair market value would be and would likely sell for far less to reclaim the space. I paid $2500 for the 76 MGB 15 years ago and it was in "fair" shape, however the stock motor began making noise and it has been parked ever since. It became the parts bin for most of my MGB and 215 parts I began collecting. I would guess that I easily have another $2000 in parts that would include 2 rebuildable 215 motors (with one of the 215s at local machine shop in unknown stage of rebuild), a working T5 and T50 5 speed transmission, 215 belhousing, 2 and 4 barrel manifolds, new 76 dash in plastic, dry professionaly rebuilt 215 4 barrel carb, hardtop without rear glass but has seal, many many other stock MGB and 215 parts and conversion literature. I have some local buyers interested in the project (including the machine shop that has one of my 215's) offering me $1200 for everything. I really need to reclaim the space and realize that I likey will take a large loss in what I have invested. Interested in taking offers and any helpful information for selling. Thanks.

Where are you located - and photos would be a good sales tool.
