Re: v8 MG valve covers, roller rockers ?
David, If you mean oem., as in MGB GT V8, I suspect they will NOT clear roller rockers. Might be better to use taller after market, and add logo ? What does" Yella Terra" say ? Good Luck, roverman.

Re: v8 MG valve covers, roller rockers ?
Thanks Art
Thought about that and will have spacers cut by semi Local with a new waterjet toy. He has fabed the rover/bop head boring plate and it's a beauty. I like the finned MG logo. Venting? Tall rover valve covers look like they would work? |

Re: v8 MG valve covers
Carl has the MG covers. He's been having an issue with blowby pressurizing the seals. IIRC there is just 1 threaded port in each valve cover, 1/4" I believe. Certainly not big enough to properly vent the engine, even the old road tubes were at least a 1" diameter but usually larger, so they can only handle something like 1/16th of the flow at the same pressure. Meaning of course that you'll need to increase the venting somehow. I think there is a second boss on each cover but a better choice is probably to use the fuel pump block off plate for a 3/4" vent line.
