MGB cylinder head wanted
Posted by: tdecell

I have suddenly come to be needing a decent/non cracked MGB 18V cylinder head. I know somebody around here has to have one that they don't need or want, after all, everybody here is removing the 4 banger for something bigger. I'm in the middle of building a V8 GT, but my daily driver roadster cylinder head decided to take a crap on the way home from work yesterday. I need a decent head that I can piece together from what I have left and what I can find. Anybody have anything? Cheap is good... All my "disposable" income is going into the GT at the moment. Reply here, send an email to tdecell(at)gmail(dotcom) or call, six zero one 954 four five one one.

Trey, I've got one. It was disassembled, cleaned, bead blasted and surface rusted. Got the assorted parts too in unknown condition, in fact I have the entire engine and an overdrive tranny. Send me a pm if you are still looking and I will return my cell number. No doubt we can work something out.

Jim

Crisis averted.....Pulled the head yesterday and found the head gasket blown between cyl's 2&3, therefore the popping out of the rear carb. Head looked good, will have it checked for flatness, then put it all back together. Thanks for the offers
