Nearly New 5.0 Aluminum Radiator

Help me salvage some dignity from my hot rodding mistake. I purchased a Northern aluminum Mustang conversion radiator from Summit for my Healey 5.0 project. Here's the link to the radiator that will provide all the specs and dimensions [www.summitracing.com]

Despite my measurements, it didn't fit. Here's the rad:

In my misguided efforts to squeeze it in, I trimmed off a portion of the mounting bracket:
