On the TriumphTR7.com classified board: [www.forum.triumphtr7.com]

Since many of you will be in Wisconsin soon, someone may want to contact this guy. Who knows, maybe he'll even show up!

Sure. I also posted on his thread over there the link to the Port Washington registration page. Since he is in Wisconsin, maybe he'll show up.

Triumph TR8

Motor: Full street performance build:
Balanced and blueprinted bottom end.
Shotpeened rods.
New pistons & rings (compression?)
Ported & polished heads.
Mild street cam.
Holly carb and Edlebrock manifold.
Headers.
Mallory MSD distributor.

Suspension: KONI yellows up front and KONI reds in back..
Roadster factory springs up front.
Hard rubber bushings all around.

Body: Un-freaking believable! It’s rust free!
Has been repainted at some point, gold & black.

Interior: Seats: reupholstered with black vinyl, like new.
Dash & door panels: good condition though
they show some wear.
Carpets & top: garbage, needs to be replaced.

Other: Car runs & drives great.
After two or three miles of driving, everything starts
working even better, for instance the tranny shifts smoother and faster than anything I’ve ever driven before.
Comes with many parts including original TR8 intake
manifold and carbs, spare motor & trans.
Starter & alternator rebuilt, charging system works great.

Bad: None of the lights work and I haven’t looked into it at all because I SUCK with electrical.
