Chevy V6 and trans for Sunbeam Alpine
I have a complete older Chevy V6 and automatic transmission for sale. I really don't know anything about it, but I have the side pipes and driveshaft too. I believe the motor is built because it's got some custom stuff and a healthy AFB? on top. Although I've never fired it up I do believe the motor runs per the previous owner. It's all there including an electronic ignition. If you're local or in the area drop me a line if you're interested. I'm open to all offers. I'm in San Diego. Thanks.619-741-4432

Would it be feasible to post a couple snapshots here? We could probably help you ID the engine and transmission much more specifically.

Yes I can. The motor is still in the car, but I hope to get it pulled out by summer. It was my hopes to try to start it before I pull it out.Unfortunately the car is in my garage under a big mess. I'll post more information on it at a later date. Thank you.

Re: Chevy V6 and trans for Sunbeam Alpine
Hello,
Well, I fired up the motor today and it runs and sounds really healthy. It does appear built. It's all there including driveshaft and side pipes. It appears to be a early 4.3 GM. It has the HEI ignition and a big 4 barrel. It is an automatic. Please call or email with any questions. Thanks. 619-741-4432 619-867-1056 |
