exhaust port covers?

Anybody know of a small plate with screw holes meant to cover and seal the V8 exhaust ports. My engine is on the stand ready for a bath but I want to seal up at least the big holes and am too lazy to make them myself....

Last weekend I found myself sitiing in my shop with nothing urgent - rare. I began to open drawers in my desk and found a section of vinyl flooring which caught my eye because it was both pliable and thick. I took a new exhaust gasket and flipped over on the flooring 8 times-size worx. I cut 1 for a template and spent time filing. Used my sabre saw for the next 7. Bolted one in place-WOW! 90 minutes of my time, check off my list "seal exhaust ports" for powerwash. PROGRESS!

Most just use duct tape.

Duck tape is your friend.

Sure, I could have used Duct Tape but then what would do with the remaining 85 minutes?

Install the "B" cam.
It's mere presence should ward off any harmful effects ;-)
Cheers

I propose we donate the virtual "ALMIGHT B CAM" in quantity to our U.S. Congress and provide instructions for install, This would include specific instructions for "How to Degree" and final installation into the ???? :-) Problem Fixed!

Kelly,

You are onto something! Maybe that is why it is designated the "B" cam. :)
