I ran across this the other day. Thought about buying it to clean up and resell, but I don't have the time right now. From what I can tell it looks to be a great deal...

Ed, it's a good thing you already own an MGB. There are some who may doubt you will ever take action.

Good thing it is an automatic. I was ready to buy a plane ticket. :)

we have a standing appointment, with no other potential buyers between us, and, i have him down to 8600, and haven't even gone to inspect it, yet, but it's coming.

my wife's f -250 super duty super crew, and my dual axle car trailer are going in the rain, if we have to.

Ed, you sound like 1/2 the fun for you is trying to squeeze every last penny out. If that car is as good as it looks from the pics, might I suggest the price is already very good and leaving the seller with a good feeling about you and the deal might pay dividends when you have a question about something down the road.

yea,

everybody wants to get their best deal.

i must say that if he holds, i'm most likely still gonna come home with it, especially, if it turns out as good as it seems, even with the dirt in the floor, not sure about the shoes, though, haha.

it checks out in every direction, so far, and i'm gonna get up with the restorer for the paint match to fix the engine bay, where he had a fluid leak at the master cylinder, and, it's been replaced, too.

and yes, i know;

it's not white

it's not a v8, but,

it's not that money, either.

the car is already done, and the running gear can be replaced.
