Wanted Set of 15" TR8 wheels RIMS (used, new, or recommendations)

Hello Im New Here, Im Todd Somers in Des Moines Iowa...I have a 1981 TR8 with Lambo Doors...I have a set of 16" rims running 225/40 16 but i have cracked one of them.... Soo i think ill go back to 15" 215/55 15 inch because finding tires is soo hard. I am looking for a set of used alloy rims but i know our selection sucks because of the bolt pattern. So i came here maybe for something used? or if anyone can recommend an affordable light weight proper rim i would appreciate it .... or let me know where i could get a set of those mini lite 5 spoke ones? I have 290 hp under the hood and even though i rarely hop on it, i still would want a rim that could take some punishment just in case i enter any of the track events at the next Triumph meet lol. I know i could add on bolt pattern adapters and change it to 4X100 so if you have some of those i might be interested as well. Just going to toss this out there and see what comes back... Used set of 15".... cheep set of adapters..... or good Rim recommendations... Thanks Guys

There is a company in California that makes wheel adaptors for almost any pcd to pcd. Go to wheeladaptor.com

Finding a set of used 15" wheels in the correct pattern is a long long long shot. Cheapest new wheels are Rota RBs from 18 racing in Cali. About $700 a set. Swapping bolt pattern to 4X100 opens you up to all kind of wheels, albeit with a slightly wrong offset. You could redrill the hubs and axles to 4X100. You would need to drill larger holes, but offset them from the existing holes so that the inner edge of both holes line up. Larger new holes would now have centers at 4X100. Takes a machinist to do it, and you would need to pull the axles and the hubs. Not an easy undertaking, but in the end its worth it. New studs would have a larger knurled end to press into larger hole, and the thread would be 1/2 20. New pattern would allow you to run 15X7s with 25 offset without spacers or 35 to 43 with spacers. Many of us go this route and then do a brake upgrade where the rotor slips on over the hub. The rotor face thickness now acts as a spacer and you can run any wheel in the Miata/VW/Honda category. Then there is always the changing everything to 5X114.3 and fit a Ford Limited slip rear end under the car, but thats another discussion.

Thanks for the info... I did alot of research and decided to pull the trigger and bought the wheel adapters from California custom made all 4 for a $100... now my options have opened up. I have narrowed it down to a few favorites and wanted to get some feed back on these... im really torn so any help on "Not that one" or "Yes Definitely that one" would help or even "they all are good choices" would help. I really appreciate finding this community here now. ROTA Grids $540/set Drag Wheels DR-21 $440/set KONIG Rewinds $400/set Raceline 126 Black $384/set DR29 $317/set very affordable options now

I think any of those could look great. Not all wheels come in the same offsets (or backspaces) so if you haven't already, figure out what offset you need and that might rule one or more in or out.
