Fuel Injection for Rover 3.9
I have a complete fuel injection unit for a Rover V8. This unit came off a 1991 Discovery 3.9. The unit is completely restored to new condition. The injectors are not new but have been serviced. The wiring harness for the injectors was cut off when the unit was removed from the vehicle (butchers), but there is enough to splice into a main cable. The throttle linkage and all ancilliaries are included. I don't want much for it. It cost me $20.00 per injector to have them serviced. The unit has been completely disassembled, blasted with glass bead and all machined surfaces have been refinished. All bolts, washers and hardware to attach same to block have been replaced. I will purchase and supply a new gasket set to be included. I guess by the time I am finished I will have about $250.00 into it.....that is all I need to get back. I am going to carburate my engine so all of this is of no use to me. I just could'nt stand to throw it all in the garbage, hoping it will be of use to someone.
The pictures do not show everything assembled. I do not have the injectors back yet and the fuel rail has been refinished but not dry. The plenum and throttle linkage is still being assembled. I will add pictures when the unit is complete. I can be reached through my e-mail ( cking70161@aol.com ) or by land line at (905) 668-8467. I am located about 30 miles east of Toronto, Ontario. I will ship anywhere in North America at your cost. |

Re: Fuel Injection for Rover 3.9
BTW....none of the surfaces have been painted. What you see in the pictures is either machined or bead blasted aluminium

Re: Fuel Injection for Rover 3.9
I have been asked a few questions on this unit....here are the answers.
The unit includes: - Most of the preformed hoses - Fan Temp Switch - Step Motor - Coolant sensor - Throttle potentiometer and this little goodie which I canot identify, but am sure it can off the unit....somewhere. There is NO ECU! |
