I don't suppose anyone out there knows where there is a good supply of parts for the MK2 saloon in the US? I just picked it up for $800 and I'm looking for body panels, doors, hood, leaf spring reinforcement channels, etc. also I'm thinking about replacing the 3.4 with the 4.2 any body got a take on that course of action? This is my first big cat and I want to do it justice.

Welcome to the forum, Nathan!

I don't know a lot about the big cats, but I've always admired them. Someone else will probably post here their favorite sources.

For good used parts, I think John's might be one of my first phone calls. I seem to recall that they've got a Jaguar junk yard... They're a sometimes sponsor of this website. Please mention us if you do call them.

You may want to try this company.

I use Welsh for new parts and I have had great luck with them. They also handle some used parts.
