The "B" is gone, Long live the XK8
Sold the V8 "B" this AM. New V8 owner for our bunch. New owner fro Maryland. He'll be tearing up the East Coast.
The XK8 is my replacement and fit my needs well. Tad short of Torque, but miles ahead on comfort. What to expect of 255 CID vs. 5.0L and 1500 # heavier. Welcome to V8'er Larry Casler. |

Re: The "B" is gone, Long live the XK8
You could have a 5.0L
And supercharged to boot! 510 hp should make that extra 1500 lbs disappear In the Range Rover it's flat out impressive. In an XK8 it would just be too much fun. I hear that the OHC ford engines will fit as well. A Coyote XK8 sounds about right.:-) Live like you mean it. Fred BTW I think The XK8 is a terrific car. You made a great choice. |

Thanks Fred, the XK8 Coupe "Hits the Spot" kinda sporty and adequate power, S/C would be nice, but I think I'll just add a "B Cam!"
